IMPORTANT UPDATED WARNING INFORMATION

Rockers, Swings, and Bouncers should not be used for sleep. In 2022 the ASTM safety warnings for these products were revised to state:

“Stay near and watch baby during use. This product is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use. If baby falls asleep, remove baby as soon as possible and place baby on a firm, flat surface, such as a crib or bassinet.”

A cozy baby is a happy baby! With the Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing in your home, you can help baby feel soothed and relaxed whenever you need a free minute for your arms. Two different swinging motions and a variety of other customizable features allow you to choose and combine what baby likes best. SmartSwing Technology offers six different baby swing speeds from low to high—whether baby is rocking side-to-side, or swinging head-to-toe. It’s easy to switch from one swing motion to another; just turn the seat! This cradle swing actually senses baby’s weight, so speeds won’t slow as baby grows, and it starts without a push. (What a smart idea!) Soothing features have been tucked into nearly every angle of this cradle swing. Sweet animals (elephant, giraffe and lion) fly overhead to encourage eye tracking. 16 songs and nature sounds help soothe, too. The mirror in the center lets babies see their reflection and around the room. Two convenient power options make this two-in-one baby swing easy to use anywhere. Plug it in for battery-free baby swing operation when you’re near an outlet, or switch to battery power swinging when you’re not!

  • My Take-Along Swing and Seat is not turning on.  What should I do?

Please note that this product needs two sets of batteries, and there are two separate battery boxes. One battery box operates the swing feature and needs 4 “C” batteries.  The other battery box operates the vibration feature and requires 1 “D” battery.

If you've already changed the batteries and the swing is still not working, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® baby gear representatives by email or phone at 1-
    800-432-5437.

  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® cradle swing? You may use your cradle swing from birth until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.
  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Take-Along Swing? You may use your Take-Along swing from birth until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.
  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Take-Along Swing and Seat?

In swing mode, you can use your Take-Along Swing until your child becomes active and can climb out of the swing. The maximum weight limit is 25 pounds.

In infant seat mode, you may use your Take-Along Seat until your child is able to sit up unassisted. In this case, 25 pounds is also the maximum weight limit.

  • My cradle swing is swinging very fast, is this normal?

If you feel your swing is too fast, please try the following trouble-shooting techniques:

    • Try a lower speed setting
    • If the low setting provides too much swinging motion for the child, try placing one end of a blanket underneath the child and let the other end of the blanket drape down while swinging.
    • If all of these techniques prove unsuccessful, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® Baby Gear representatives.

Remember, the lighter the child is in the swing, the higher the swing can swing and the faster it will seem.

  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Swing to High Chair?

In swing mode, you may use your Swing to High Chair until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.

In high chair mode, you may use your Swing to High Chair in the upright position only by children capable of sitting up unassisted; 50 pounds maximum.  Use the restraint system until your child is able to get in and out of the product unassisted (about 2 ½ years old).

  • What are the best kind of batteries to use in Fisher-Price® and Mattel® products?

    A.    We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
