  • My Take-Along Swing and Seat is not turning on.  What should I do?

Please note that this product needs two sets of batteries, and there are two separate battery boxes. One battery box operates the swing feature and needs 4 “C” batteries.  The other battery box operates the vibration feature and requires 1 “D” battery.

If you've already changed the batteries and the swing is still not working, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® baby gear representatives by email or phone at 1-
    800-432-5437.

  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® cradle swing? You may use your cradle swing from birth until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.
  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Take-Along Swing? You may use your Take-Along swing from birth until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.
  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Take-Along Swing and Seat?

In swing mode, you can use your Take-Along Swing until your child becomes active and can climb out of the swing. The maximum weight limit is 25 pounds.

In infant seat mode, you may use your Take-Along Seat until your child is able to sit up unassisted. In this case, 25 pounds is also the maximum weight limit.

  • My cradle swing is swinging very fast, is this normal?

If you feel your swing is too fast, please try the following trouble-shooting techniques:

    • Try a lower speed setting
    • If the low setting provides too much swinging motion for the child, try placing one end of a blanket underneath the child and let the other end of the blanket drape down while swinging.
    • If all of these techniques prove unsuccessful, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® Baby Gear representatives.

Remember, the lighter the child is in the swing, the higher the swing can swing and the faster it will seem.

  • How long am I able to use my Fisher-Price® Swing to High Chair?

In swing mode, you may use your Swing to High Chair until the child becomes active and can climb out of the swing; 25 pounds maximum.

In high chair mode, you may use your Swing to High Chair in the upright position only by children capable of sitting up unassisted; 50 pounds maximum.  Use the restraint system until your child is able to get in and out of the product unassisted (about 2 ½ years old).

  • What are the best kind of batteries to use in Fisher-Price® and Mattel® products?

    A.    We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
