- How long should it take to assemble the ESPN GameStation? Approximate assembly time is 2 ½ - 5 hours depending upon the tools used. A power screwdriver will reduce some of the assembly time as will the assistance of another adult. The ESPN GameStation is not difficult to assemble, and the instructions were written with great care and attention to detail, including photographs on every page.

Why does it take so much time to assemble the ESPN GameStation?
The GameStation offers children the fun of playing 6 of the most popular sports, along with all the excitement of ESPN and 21 electronic games.

Can I have my ESPN Game Station assembled by a service center?
We are unable to advise you of a service center that will assemble this product, however, some retail outlets may offer assembly service for a fee. Assembly is not difficult but it may take some time to complete.

How heavy and what size is the ESPN Game Center when it’s assembled?
The product weighs approximately 50 lbs. when assembled.
Fully assembled, the product is 82" high, 34" wide and 90" long.
(6.8’ x 2.8’ x 7.5’)In its folded position, it’s 82" high, 34" wide and 30" long.
(6.8’ x 2.8’ x 2.5’)Please note that you should assemble the product in the room it will be used in because once it is fully assembled, moving it from room-to-room will require two adults as it is approximately 7 feet high and 3 feet wide when in its storage mode.
- Is an AC adapter available for the ESPN Game Center? No.

Can the ESPN Game Center be used outside and is it weather-resistant?
The ESPN GameStation cannot be used outdoors nor in direct sunlight. It is not weather-resistant.
- How long will my child be able to use the ESPN Game Center before outgrowing it? The GameStation is recommended for children ages 5 years and up. Our designers and engineers, who are 25 and older, play with it all the time!

What is the best way to move the ESPN Game Center around the house?
The best way to move the product around is in its storage mode. We recommend assembling the product in the room it is intended to be used in because it weighs 50 lbs. When fully assembled, is approximately 7 feet high and 3 feet wide in its storage mode position.

Does the ESPN Game Center require more than one person to move it?
We recommend that 2 adults move the product.
- Will my child be able to change the sport option on the ESPN Game Center by him or herself? With a few simple steps, an older child (7 or 8 years) should be able to change playing modes. Please refer to the owner’s manual (page 100) for details.
- Will my child be able to fold up the ESPN Game Center on his/her own? With a few simple steps, an older child (7 or 8) should be able to fold the product into its storage position, please refer to your owner’s manual (page 129). We do not recommend that children move this product on their own.

What are the differences between the C4492 ESPN and H0127 ESPN Championship Edition of the Game Stations?
The ESPN Championship Edition Game Station has:

Why isn’t my ESPN Game Center working?
If your ESPN Game Center is not working, please check the following:
1. Check Batteries
- Check that the batteries are in the correct orientation
- Replace the batteries with 4 fresh C alkaline batteries.
- Verify that the power switch is in the ON position. The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
- Verify the unit is not in sleep mode, turn the on/off switch to off and then back to on.
The connectors are located below the scoreboard in the back of the product. To check them the follow the below procedure:- Power the unit down. NOTE The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
- Remove the cover over the connectors (2 screws)
- One at a time, unplug the connector, check the pins (verify none are bent), and plug them back together. Be sure they are pressed together firmly.
- Repeat this procedure with all 5 connectors.
- Replace the cover over the connectors - use caution not to pinch the wires.
- Power the unit up.
Bringing the game is a three step process. You must select a game using yellow game selector switch. Choose between Free Play, Beat-the-Clock, Game Play, or Perfect Game), and then you must select a sport (red push buttons), finally you would need to press the start button. If you are playing a game and it ends, and you would like to play again you only need to press the start button again. -
Where is the Game Selector Retainer located on my ESPN game station?
The game selector retainer comes attached to the game selector. The instructions show the retainer as a separate part.
- Can the Beat the Clock game for the ESPN Game Station be played with Soccer, Hockey and Golf? The Beat the Clock game is available only for Basketball and Football. It cannot be played with Soccer, Hockey or Golf.
- What tools do I need to put the ESPN Game Center together? We recommend using a power or Phillips screwdriver (not included.) You may also find it helpful to use an adjustable wrench or pliers to hold some of the lock nuts in place while tightening the bolts.
- How many batteries do I need and what sizes are required for my ESPN Game Center? The ESPN GameStation requires 4 "C" alkaline batteries (not included). Fresh batteries should last approximately 15 hours.

Where can I find the hockey stick in my ESPN Game Station packaging?
The hockey stick is taped to the bottom of the base in the packaging.

What are the best kind of batteries to use in Fisher-Price® and Mattel® products?
A. We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
