Princess Sofia can dine with her family (not included) on the middle level or enjoy the ocean breeze on deck. Then she can journey upstairs to the very top level and steer the royal ship from the captain's wheel. But that's just the beginning!
Sofia can also embark on mermaid adventures - just like in the Disney Junior series!
Remove her princess skirt to reveal her mermaid tail, so she can slide down the translucent blue slide into a mermaid cove, complete with a spinning wheel and seashell throne, which flips up to reveal her new mermaid friend, Oona.
Whether she's a princess steering from above or a mermaid exploring down below, there are endless ways to play out Sofia's action-packed family vacation at sea!
Sofia's favorite animal friend, Clover the Rabbit (not included) can join in the vacation fun from his very own life preserver which hovers above the "sea."

- Why is my Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle giving incorrect responses or no responses when I place the figures on the figure reading base? The talking figure reading platform in the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle recognizes that Prince James, King Roland, Queen Miranda, or her friends are on the platform, and reacts by Sofia speaking to them or about them in her own voice or with trumpet sounds. Sofia, Clover and Amber are the only characters who prompt their own voices when placed on the talking platform. The castle will only give the correct responses when using a figure that has a colored shape on its base. An incorrect response can also occur if it is being used in a brightly lit room or direct sunlight or the figures are placed on or removed from the special base too quickly. The figures must be placed on the special base for a full second to work properly. A. We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
