  • What type of adapter may I use for my Fisher-Price® baby monitor?

Our monitors should only be used with Fisher-Price wall adapters to ensure the safety of the monitor.

Adapters should only be replaced with an original Fisher-Price wall adapter.  If you need to purchase an adapter, please visit our online store.

  • When I am using my baby monitor, I can hear sounds or conversations from other homes.  What should I do?

There is signal interference due to other baby monitors on the same channel or as a result of cordless phone use.

Change the channel switches on both transmitter and receiver to eliminate the source of interference.

Remember that both units must be on the same channel.  If the problem persists, you may need to consider purchasing a monitor on a different frequency.

  • What is the difference between analog and digital monitors?

Analog monitors operate on one of 3 frequencies: 49MHz, 900MHz or 2.4GHz.  They can have between 2 and 10 channels to choose from to minimize interference.

Digital monitors operate on one of 2 frequencies: 900MHz or 2.4GHz.  They have no channels to choose from because they automatically scan for the clearest channel.

  • What should I do if the receiver from my digital monitor stops receiving a signal from the transmitter?

It is possible that the units simply need to be reset or paired.

    1. Press the pairing button on the side of the receiver with a paperclip until the power button L.E.D. blinks and the range indicator turns on.

    2. Press the pairing button on the back of the transmitter with a paperclip until the receiver range indicator turns off.

  • What are the best kind of batteries to use in Fisher-Price® and Mattel® products?

    A.    We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.
